I recently found some pages from my High School days--whew, Bubba, these are raw and uncut. Some of the file dates say 1994, and I must have been a Sophmore or a Freshman at the time. Indeed. Well, enjoy these pages: Little Coté In Action.
The Holy Hat Person Jihad - Like most geeks in High School, I hated everyone else. These are my little sarcastic screeds against what I and friends called "The Hat People." This page won a couple "site of the day" things and, at one point, I had 12,000 hits. That was pretty cool considering the quality of the HTML in these pages.
Coach Jack Says... - Coach Jack was a infamous for saying any old shit he wanted to in his health class like, "How you gonna get a gonera wart on your ear?" I took great pride in writing down his "witty" little quotes.
The First Coté Page - That's right, my first stab (in the dark) at a homepage, date marked 5/26/94. Like most everyone else it was just a list of links. But hey, check out that Stimpy.
The Great Spork Debate - My great friend Mason posted this message to alt.plastic.utensils.spork.spork.spork long ago describing his theory on the origin on the spork.
The Saint Java Files
The screen name I used on BBS before my Internet days was Saint Java,
and, as always, I kept up an irregular collection of pontifications
and lists.
- One was Fun Facts, a poorly maintained list of trival facts
- And what Coté page would be complete with out aphorisitc declarations of my thoughts or, as I liked to call them, Saint Java On
- I loved Taco Bell in those days and I wrote this tribute to it
- Lastly, a list of "words oft not used that should be."
